Dead Island 2 has a lot of little goodies you can find throughout the game. But one of the best weapons in the early game is rewarded through a Lost & Found quest. And if you’re struggling to efficiently deal with the zombies roaming the streets, it’s time to up your arsenal. So here’s a quick guide on how to find the Electrocutor Officer Sword in Dead Island 2.
Dead Island 2 – How to get the Electrocutor Sword
The Electrocutor Officer’s Sword is found after you complete The Clean and Snatch Lost & Found quest in Beverly Hills. You’ll first come to Beverly Hills for the 7th Main Quest mission, O Michael, Where Art Thou? As soon as you reach Beverly Hills you can get started on this quest and bank the sword.
To officially start the quest you need to head over to the house on the eastern side of the map and go to the pool. Here you’ll find a journal on top of a chest that is locked. The Electrocutor Officer Sword is in this chest, but in typical Dead Island 2 fashion, we’ll need to do some legwork before we can get it. Picking up the journal on top of the chest begins the hunt, and it plays out a bit differently from the other quests you may have done so far.
Our objective is to find the rest of the journals scattered throughout Beverly Hills. But don’t worry there are only three to find. What makes this even easier is that you simply need to go to the other pools of neighboring houses to find the others. So, use the map below to find all the journals you need to get.

The next part of the quest is located back in Bel-Air. You need to go to the Goat Pen mansion and, you guessed it, head to the pool there. Inside the pool you’ll find a zombie called Obi The Pool Guy. Simply put this zombie out of its misery, and you’ll get the key to the chest with our Electrocutor Officer Sword. Once you have the key, backtrack to Beverly Hills again and open up the locked chest.

Looking sharp
The Electrocutor Officer Sword is one of the best weapons you can get early in Dead Island 2. Its best feature is obviously the Rare Melee Electrocutor Mod, which applies a lot of shock damage. And in the early parts of the game you’re probably still using a lot of junk weapons. So, having this should make a lot of encounters much easier.
