You won’t have to explore the underground ruins beneath Kehjistan alone, as this season introduces new robotic creatures. Here’s how this Seneschal Companion works.

What is the Seneschal Companion in Diablo 4 Season of the Construct?

Season of the Construct’s biggest feature has got to be the Seneschal Companion, as described in this blog post from Blizzard. With the power of the Loom, you will gain your own robotic helper during the seasonal quest line. As you can tell from the images provided, your Seneschal Companion in Diablo 4 Season 3 will aid you in combat.

Your little robot companion will follow you everywhere around Sanctuary until the end of the Season. It needs a bit of tinkering first before it can become strong. Throughout the Vaults, a new Dungeon type, and other places in Sanctuary, you can find Governing and Tuning Stones to create the perfect Seneschal Companion build.

After completing a Vault, you’ll earn one random Tuning Stone. You can also find these Stones through Wardwoven Chests found throughout the various seasonal levels. Both Stone types will randomly drop in Vaults and Arcane Tremors.

Your Seneschal can wield two Governing Stones (one for each attack) and six Tuning Stones (three to augment the ability). In total, you can find 12 Governing Stones and 27 Tuning Stones, all with different rarities. They also require you to level them up by fusing them with duplicate Stones. Better levels will give you increased potency of your Seneschal’s attacks and abilities.

Another cool thing is the fact that defeating enemy Constructs can earn you Shattered Stone. You can craft this into either Governing or Tuning Stones at Jewelers.

Hypothetically, let’s say you’re over Diablo 4. Well, this hypothetical version of you is in luck, as we’ve got a list of Diablo 4-like games for you to give a spin.
