Genshin Impact Feline Fortress Furrdyssey event guide: All furniture solutions and cat petting spots

Earn free Primogems by playing with cats.

There’s a new event in Genshin Impact that lets you play with cute cats to earn free Primogems and other rewards, but figuring out the best ways to befriend each cat can be frustrating. This is a simple event on paper, but some people are struggling with designing the coziest rooms for each cat and learning the best spots to pet their furry friends.

Fully befriending each cat and decorating their rooms to their liking will net you 80 Primogems each, and with five felines available during the event period, those Priomgems really start to add up. This event is only live for a very short period, but thankfully, it only takes a few minutes each day to complete each objective.

Feline Fortress Furrdyssey Event Schedule

The Feline Fortress Furrdyssey event began in Genshin Impact on Monday, April 8, 2024. It will last for 10 days, ending on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 1 am PT/4 am ET. That’s just a week before Genshin Impact version 4.6 releases, so there won’t be too long of a wait for new content after this kitty-themed event wraps up.

To earn all of the rewards for this event, you need to raise Feline Favor by designing cozy rooms for each cat and petting them in their favorite spots. Successfully furnishing a cat’s room will net you 40 Primogems, 20,000 Mora, and three Guides to Freedom. Reaching the Cherished friendship level with each cat will reward you with the same. If you need some extra Primogems to pull for characters like Neuvillette, this is a great way to get them.

Snowball’s Warm Little Den

To begin, you need to design a room for Snowball with a small amount of Comfiness and Aesthetics but a lot of Durability. Select the following furniture pieces to meet these criteria.

  • Teatime Accessory
  • Comforting Ornament
  • Lunch Break Seat
  • Overflowing Cabinet

This will be enough to earn the rewards for decorating Snowball’s Warm Little Den.

Once you’ve decorated Snowball’s Warm Little Den, it’s time to play with the cat to raise its friendship level. Snowball likes to be pet in the following spots.

  • Face
  • Upper Body
  • Lower Body
  • Left Paw
  • Right Paw

Avoid touching Snowball’s ears or tail, otherwise you’ll reduce your friendship level. Make sure to change up the spots that you’re petting so Snowball doesn’t get bored and you keep earning the best friendship boosts. To get the Primogems, you only need to raise your friendship level with Snowball to Cherished. It doesn’t hurt to pet the cat a few more times to reach Inseparable, though.

Bunny’s Hopping Home

The second cat for this event is named Bunny. The required decor for Bunny’s Hopping Home is low in Comfiness but high in Durability and Aesthetics. These are the correct choices for Bunny’s Hopping Home.

  • Gilded Cradle Toy
  • Calming Flower
  • Philosophy Seat
  • Bedtime Story Cabinet

After decorating the room, it’s time to pet Bunny to raise your friendship level. When petting Bunny, focus on these areas.

  • Left Ear
  • Right Ear
  • Face
  • Upper Body
  • Lower Body

Avoid touching Bunny’s tail or either of Bunny’s paws unless you want to lose friendship points. Again, you only need to reach Cherished to earn the free Primogems, but it doesn’t hurt to get a little extra quality time in to reach the maximum level.

Dustball’s Relaxing Room

The third cat you’ll meet during the Feline Fortress Furrdyssey event is Dustball, who wants a room that prioritizes Comfiness above all else. Choose these furniture items to move on to the next part.

  • Precise Ornament
  • Outspoken Stool
  • Leisure Cabinet
  • Resplendent Carpet
  • Rose’s Toy

With decoration out of the way, you can start petting Dustball to raise your friendship level. It’s the same process as the past two cats. Dustballs’ favorite petting spots are:

  • Face
  • Upper Body
  • Left Paw
  • Right Paw
  • Tail

Dustball is the first cat that lets you pet their tail, but don’t try to touch Dustball’s ears or lower body unless you wan to upset the cat. After the petting session is over, you can claim some more free Primogems as a reward.

Dopey’s Fantasy Paradise

The fourth feline friend that you’ll make during this event is Dopey, who prefers balanced decor that’s just slightly comfy. Here are the furniture choices for Dopey.

  • Rich Sofa
  • Teatime Accessory
  • Pleasing Light
  • Cornucopia Seat
  • Tremendous Cabinet

When you’re petting Dopey, touch him in the following spots to earn the most friendship points.

  • Left Ear
  • Right Ear
  • Upper Body
  • Lower Body
  • Tail

As long as you don’t touch Dopey’s paws, you’ll be fine. Just follow the same petting procedure as the past few days and you’ll be fine. You should know the deal by now.

Fantastic Felines’ Forbidding Fortress

The final feline of this event is Sir Pouncelot, a cat with discerning taste. To please Sir Pouncelot, pick these decorations.

  • Assembled Stool
  • Carefree Sofa
  • Standing Round Table
  • Flowing Flower
  • Gently Lit Cabinet

It may seem like Sir Pouncelot doesn’t appreciate pets as much as the other cats because of his fancy tastes, but he’s a softy inside just like the rest. He loves to be pet in these spots.

  • Right Paw
  • Left Paw
  • Right Ear
  • Left Ear
  • Lower Body
  • Upper Body

That’s right, Sir Pouncelot lets you pet him anywhere except his face. There are no wrong choices. You’d think the final cat of the event would be the hardest to deal with, but Sir Pouncelot is just a sweet little baby boy.

That’s everything for the Feline Fortress Furrdyssey event in Genshin Impact! It’s not the most exciting event that Teyvat has seen, but it’s an easy way to earn some free Primogems to save up for upcoming characters. At least there’s not a ton of dialogue to click through. If only the recently added skip dialogue feature turned out better than it did.
