Gray Zone Warfare First Hit guide: Where to find the Criminal Leader

Strike fast, strike first.

Gray Zone Warfare is an immersive shooter. That can be a good and a bad thing, as some missions can be difficult to complete. Proof of this is in the First Hit mission where you have to locate a certain criminal. To help you find the Criminal Leader in First Hit for Gray Zone Warfare, you can find the locations in this guide.

The first thing to note is that whichever faction you are, the area you need to go to will be different. However, all three factions will end up in the Marketplace. The only difference is the location of the Marketplace. If you’re lost on that, don’t worry, I got the coordinates for each faction below.

Crimson Shield International: 141, 162 Marketplace for Kiu Vongsa.

Mithras Security Systems: 171, 119 Marketplace for Nam Thaven.

Lamang Recovery Initiative: 201, 612 Marketplace for Pha Lang.

So now we know where each Criminal Leader can be. The good thing about this NPC is that he doesn’t seem to leave the parameters of the Marketplace, so if you can’t find him outside, try looking in the buildings nearby.

The criminal leader has some identifiers to make him easier to stand out. He’s usually wearing sunglasses and dawning a red beret. He’s also guarded by two other criminals. I suggest you play with friends when you find him. He can be easy to kill, but he also outputs a lot of damage. With friends, you can easily focus fire on him.

Completing First Hit

As soon as you dispatch the leader, the mission is complete. However, you may get an update that states you have to neutralize the NPC — which you’ve already done. You can loot the body if you’d like. He drops his glasses and red beret, however, some players have reported he also drops the Marketplace key. This unlocks a room on the second floor of the Marketplace,  which could have some rare loot.

Once this is done, head back to Handshake and collect your rewards. You should get the following:

  • $4,500
  • 400 XP
  • An Exfil Helmet
  • 100 Rep with Handshake

Armor is a little weird in Gray Zone Warfare. An armored tired guide should explain things better for you.
