How to complete Medical Detective task in Gray Zone Warfare
Medical Detective, contrary to what its name may imply, is actually the third task given by Gunny. Your main objective will be to find out what happened with some medical supplies that were stolen by enemy militia. While the objective says that we will need to search for the missing supplies, it ends up with us trying to find any trace or clue to exactly what happened. Thankfully, the place we want to travel to is not too far from the Main Base or Landing Zones.
Since the Faction you choose in the game will determine the location of the medical outpost we need to investigate, check out the exact coordinates belonging to your Faction from the chart below:

The city layout for all three factions is identical, so look out for the facility just at the entrance of the city. You might think this is the final step of the mission, but you are wrong. You see, this facility’s door is locked and the only way to open it is by using its specific key. The key’s location isn’t exact since you can only get it by looting dead enemy soldiers. Shoot enemies until you find the key necessary to open the medical facility and return to open the door.
However, I would suggest you attempt to open the door first. There is a chance that other players have opened the door before you during your infil. If that’s the case, then you can save your bullets and skip the soldier slaughtering altogether.
Once you are inside, locate the main desk in the facility and pick up the Doctor’s Diary. This will detail all the information required about the missing supplies. All you have to do now is return to your Main Base, so fast travel by helicopter and deliver the diary to Gunny.
And that’s pretty much all you need to do! Depending on your luck, this mission can take just a quick moment or extend to infinity, so I hope you don’t have to struggle much with the medical facility’s key. If you are struggling with the local militia, be sure to purchase and customize your weapons to make you a force to be reckoned with. Once you complete the mission, you will receive the following rewards:
