Honkai Star Rail: Best Asta team comps

Astrologists assemble.

Honkai: Star Rail features a number of free-to-play characters for you to obtain while progressing throughout the game. These characters are given to all players for free, ensuring that you receive at least one copy of these characters. You can still pull these free characters on any of the Warp Banners, but you’ll always have at least one in your roster. Despite being free characters, these units are still strong and a useful addition to many teams, including Asta. Asta is a Fire Harmony character who can provide some helpful buffs to your team. Here’s our guide on the best team comps for Asta in Honkai: Star Rail.

Asta is a 4-star Fire Harmony character and is received for free, but you can still obtain extra copies of her to obtain some Eidolons by pulling on any of the Warp Banners. Like with any 4-star character, Asta will occasionally receive a rate-up on Character Event Warp banners, increasing the likelihood that you summon her while pulling. This can happen during any Character Event Warp banner, so check carefully to see if the current banner features a rate-up for Asta. Read on to see some of the best team comps for Asta in Honkai: Star Rail.

Asta is a Fire Harmony character and acts as one an offensive support, subbing in for characters like Tingyun or Bronya if you do not have them. As a Harmony character, you can often fit a couple of them in one team, so Asta is a good substitute and brings some advantages of her own. Asta provides a nice SPD buff with her Ultimate, ensuring that your characters move faster. Here are some of Asta’s best team comps in Honkai: Star Rail.

  • Seele / Tingyun / Asta / Natasha: Free-to-play players who have lucked out in obtaining a Seele might be wondering what the best team comp for her is with free-to-play friendly characters. Tingyun and Asta are both 4-star buffers, while Natasha is a 4-star healer that all players receive for free. Asta and Tingyun both provide offensive buffs to help Seele reach higher damage thresholds. Asta also has some great weakness break.
  • For an alternative to Tingyun, you can use Pela to run a debuffer instead of two buffers. Pela has some niches of her own, such as DEF reduction on the enemy team and the ability to dispel buffs.
  • Welt / Asta / Dan Heng / Natasha: This is another free-to-play friendly composition that combines Welt’s debuffs, Asta’s SPD buffs, and Dan Heng’s slows to form your core team. Natasha remains the team’s healer, although you can replace her with Bailu.
  • Other main DPS characters that will work well with the Tingyun + Asta core are Yanqing, Dan Heng, and Hook.
