How to equip Planar Ornament Relics in Honkai Star Rail
Planar Ornament Relics come in two categories: Link Ropes and Planar Spheres. Both are useful in that they apply a variety of effects, depending on the one you equip. As with other gear, equipping a set also provides a set bonus.
What seems like the same piece of equipment may impact different stats. You can easily tap an icon or press a button to compare the stats between two pieces of equipment before deciding which one to equip. For example, equipment of one type might primarily improve HP, or it might improve ATK.
To equip Planar Ornament Relics, you must progress through the No Time for Me, My Old Friend sub-mission. You can’t attempt it until you have reached Trailblaze level 24 and have figured out how to unlock Echo of War. After a meeting with Bronya in the No Time for Me, My Old Friend sub-mission, your characters will have a discussion that unlocks the new equipment slots.
To find Planar Ornament Relics to equip, you must venture into Herta’s Simulated Universe stages. In World 3, you will encounter special ‘Immersion Devices’ each time you defeat Elite or Boss enemies. You can spend 40 Trailblaze Power or use rare Immersion Keys to gather loot from those devices. Their rarity improves as you clear higher difficulty settings.
Planar Ornament Relics are an important part of any complete gear set. A powerful set of ornaments can greatly enhance the stats of your choosing and allow you to face off against more powerful foes. Make sure to spend the time required to get the very best gear for your favorite characters.
