How to build a Flame Cauldron in Palworld

Oh, that's where it is!

Building and crafting play a large role in Palworld. Without that, the hunting aspect of the game can feel empty. As you level both your base and yourself, you earn more things to create. One of the things you can make is Flame Cauldron.

Unlike most things in the game, it seems to be confusing players as to where it is in the menu. If that’s you, this guide will show you how to build the Flame Cauldron in Palworld.

Palworld: How to build a Flame Cauldron

After buying the Flame Cauldron from the technology tree, you head to your workbench to make the cauldron, but it’s not there. You look to the production section of your building menu, and it isn’t there, either. If you’re in the building radial menu, you’re in the right spot, but in the wrong section. As confusing as it is, the Flame Cauldron should be in the Other category which is located on the far right side. Once you locate it and have the proper resources, the cauldron is all yours.

The Flame Cauldron Bug

After you build it, the Flame Cauldron is supposed to be lit automatically. However, some players are reporting that it doesn’t get lit up at all. My advice would be to use a Pal that has Kindling capabilities to force it to light up. But if that does not work, you may have to wait or try again later as there’s no fix at the time of writing this guide.

Do I need a Flame Cauldron?

I’d say yes if you’re always making food and crafting high-quality gear. This is because it speeds up the creation of ingots, cooking, and anything else that’s required by the Flame Cauldron. While it needs 20 Flame Organs, 100 Wood, and 50 Ingot which makes it rather expensive, the Cauldron is worth it once you have it. On top of that, any Pal you have in your base that has the Kindling passive will see a jump in their Kindling speed. So the investment can pay off in the end.

The Flame Cauldron is a little straightforward. But do you know what can be a headache in Palworld? That’s right, stairs. Read this guide on how to place them.
