Crafting items within LEGO Fortnite is rather simple at first glance, but throughout the game, you’re going to take advantage of certain aspects, such as stations. One of these stations is the Lumber Mill, and we’re going to run over how to craft one within LEGO Fortnite.
LEGO Fortnite: How to craft a Lumber Mill
Stations are essentially hubs for certain tasks in LEGO Fortnite, and they`re going to act similarly to how Furnaces and other structures work in Minecraft.
They’re all going to have a purpose, and players will need to take advantage of certain ones, more so early on than others. One of these is the Lumber Mill, and players will want to craft this one as soon as possible, as it’s going to be used for converting wood into planks, which, in turn, can be used for crafting furniture.
So, if you want a roof over your head within LEGO Fortnite, then you’re going to want to get a head start and craft one of these Lumber Mills as soon as you find the following materials.
- Wood x8
- Granite x15
Once you have allocated the following materials, you’ll need to select the build button on your screen and place it where you want on your island.

Once you have this done, you’ll then be able to create planks — another material from wood, which is going to be useful for certain projects you have in mind.
One trick to finding wood and granite around the LEGO Fortnite world is to head around some trees and rocks, as players will be able to pick these up freely.
This should suffice to find the needed materials for the Lumber Mill, and you’ll also be able to gather enough materials for other stations such as the Crafting Bench.
