A critical fact that I have realized after talking to other TOTK players at PC Invasion is that you must kill Red, Blue, and White Lynel-colored variants before they start “evolving” to stronger versions after every blood moon. This is the same process as Zelda Breath of the Wild (BOTW). Otherwise, you will only see Red, Blue, or White Lynel at the below locations. Once you kill enough to start spawning Silver Lynel, look at our tips and location guides below so you know where to find all 12 and how to defeat them.

Silver Lynel has 5,000 HP making them one of the most formidable enemies in TOTK. I will admit that I died countless times against them. However, you can do a few things to make a fight against them more accessible. The first is to sneak up on it and then mount it. Then, keep attacking it until you are thrown off. After that, you will want to play defensively to counter the Silver Lynel’s aggressive nature. I beat most of the Silver Lynel using the Hylian Shield. I also defeated them by using updrafts to glide away from their attacks. To attack the Silver Lynel, you will want to shoot them in the head using an Arrow fused with a Keese Eyeball to stun them. This will give you plenty of time to run up and attack them. Be sure to use the Flurry Rush ability when needed during this process.
