Just like Saga’s weapon upgrades using Manuscript Fragments, Alan has a few upgrades of his own using these Words of Power. How you can find Words of Power in Alan Wake 2 is by finding circled locations on your map and following the yellow arrows.

The first thing you may notice when exploring New York as Alan are random yellow arrows. Follow where they’re pointing, and more will appear, making a trail. Sometimes the end point is easy, and other times it’s a little difficult finding where they point to.
