Diablo 4 error fix: How to fix “Queued for Game, Start Game Pending”

There are four things you can try to fix the Diablo 4 error “Queued for Game, Start Game Pending.” These four fixes might be what works for you, so try them all in chronological order to fix your error and get back to playing.

It’s not a guarantee that these four fixes will work for you, but you might as well try them as it’s better than the alternative. Plus, if none of these fixes work, you’ll end up doing the last piece of advice anyway which is to wait for Blizzard to fix the issue.

Check internet connection

The first thing to look at is your internet connection. If your internet has accidentally gone out, you’ll experience errors when trying to log in. You can’t unlock a mount in Diablo 4 if you don’t have a live internet connection.

What you need to do is restart your WiFi router. If you still experience this error after you do that and try to log back in, try a wired connection from your router to your console or PC. If this doesn’t fix the error, the problem isn’t your internet.

Oftentimes, Diablo 4 errors are because of internet problems or server issues. You need to root out all chances that the issue might be on your side. With this issue resolved, you can be confident that it’s the Blizzard servers that are the problem.

Restart Diablo 4

The next fix you can try is restarting Diablo 4. If you’re on PC or console, force quit out of Diablo 4, wait a few seconds, and boot it up again.

If that doesn’t erase your errors, try restarting your PC or console. For some reason, one of the biggest fixes for all tech problems is turning something off and then on again. After waiting a few seconds with the power off, turn your PC or console on again and see if you can’t log into Diablo 4.

Check the Diablo 4 Twitter and Downdetector

After checking your internet and restarting the game, the next fix you can try is checking the Diablo 4 Twitter page and Downdetector. Though it’s not known for sharing server issues, if a situation is severe enough, the Diablo 4 Twitter page may have solutions to the error you’re experiencing.

A more reliable check is to visit Downdetector. Here, you can report that Diablo 4 isn’t working for you and see if other users are experiencing errors. If you see a spike in server outages and errors, then that means the problem is for sure on Blizzard’s end.

Wait for servers to stabilize

Lastly, if you’ve tried all of the above fixes, the best thing you can do is wait for the servers to die down and/or Blizzard to fix this error. There are a lot of people trying to play Diablo 4 all at once which stresses the servers and causes errors like the “Queued for Game, Start Game Pending” error. Unfortunately, your only option is to wait it out.
