How to get A Beating Vessel achievement in Slay the Princess

And here’s how to get “A Beating Vessel” achievement in Slay the Princess.

A Beating Heart and A Beating Vessel achievement guide

To unlock the “A Beating Vessel” achievement, you have to start from chapter one and invoke the Razor route. This is done by taking the knife, then either choosing to question whether she’s armed before you attack her or by attacking her immediately and then doubting your victory by checking for a pulse or removing the knife. She comes back to life and stabs you, leading to you both dying.

Then, in chapter two, do not take the blade. This is the only choice that matters in the entire route. Everything else you choose to do will not affect the path of The Razor. She’ll end up transforming into a body of entirely blades no matter what. Then, once The Shifting Mound comes for her, her blade body begins to fold in on itself and eventually collapses, leaving only her heart for the Mound to take.

Make sure you let The Shifting Mound reset back to Chapter One after she takes the heart. Unless you do that, the achievement won’t register. If you did this before, you’ll have to quickly do it again. An error was preventing the achievement from being registered, but it’s been patched and it works now.

If the game registers it correctly though, congratulations! You’re one Princess form closer to collecting all of them for achievement purposes. And all you had to do was get skewered over and over and over again.
