How to find Gold Keys in Palworld
There are a few ways to get Gold Keys in Palworld. But, the most reliable one is by killing Black Marketeers, who can be found in different locations around the map. However, killing the Black Marketeers will not be an easy task, as they are heavily equipped with a machine gun to defend themselves. Moreover, most of them will be Level 40, so make sure to take capable and strong Pals in your party to defeat these Black Marketeers and collect some Gold Keys. You can also find Gold Keys by killing or capturing Leezpunk and Leezpunk Ignis. Moreover, sometimes if you are lucky enough, you can also get Gold Keys by opening Silver Chests. However, none of these two ways are guaranteed to work, as they will drop Gold Keys very rarely.
Getting Gold Keys using any method other than the Black Marketeer one requires you to be lucky. So, getting Gold Keys by killing the Black Marketeer is the easiest way. Luckily, as these merchants respawn within seconds, you can easily farm a lot of Gold Keys in a few minutes. After killing a Black Marketeer, go away from the location and return after 5-10 seconds. After returning, you will find the merchant in its position again. Now, kill him again and keep repeating the process to farm a lot of Gold Keys in a very short time.
How to use Gold Keys in Palworld
Gold Keys can be used to open Gold Chests in Palworld. These are the highest tier of chests and will reward you with high-tier rare loots. However, Gold Chests cannot be found until the late stages of the game when you will explore the Astral Mountains — the icy mountain area on the north side of the map. Gold Chests can only be found in this region, so use any of the four fast travel points: Unthawable Lake, Pristine Snow Field, PAL Genetic Research Unit Tower Entrance, or Land of Absolute Zero to reach the mountains and look for some Gold Chests.
