Enshrouded’s new Melodies of the Mire update brings highly requested features to the game such as daggers, quality-of-life improvements, and a brand-new survivor. It even added musical instruments, allowing you to jam out with your friends. Here’s how to get musical instruments in Enshrouded.
Enshrouded: How to unlock musical instruments
To get musical instruments in Enshrouded, players must first unlock the new NPC named Valory of the Bard. Players can do this by completing the “Follow the Melody” questline, a quest recently added in the Melodies of the Mire update. One of the objectives in the Follow the Melody quest is to save a new survivor, who goes by the name Valory of the Bard.
Once you rescue Valory of the Bard, place her down using your Summoning Staff at your base. Once you summon her, speak to her and select the option “Anything For The Applause.” This will activate a new quest called “Hand Drum for the Bard.” Complete this new quest by following the waymarkers on the map, unlocking instruments upon completion.
How to start the Follow the Melody quest in Enshrouded
Unlocking the new Follow the Melody questline boils down to progressing through the main quests of the Melodies of the Mire update. The good news is that these new quests become available instantly upon updating the game and interacting with the Flame Altar. After interacting with your Flame Altar, a new waypoint will appear on your map. Keep progressing through the new quests until the Follow the Melody questline becomes available.

The Melodies of the Mire updates add a solid amount of instruments to choose from. The following instruments can be acquired in Enshrouded:
