How to get the crossbow in Sons of the Forest

Finding the crossbow.

There are many weapon types in Sons of the Forest, From firearms like a pistol and a shotgun, all the way to skull clubs and katanas. The game really does have quite a few different weapons for you to work with. One of the types of weapon in the game is the crossbow. This weapon can be found relatively early if you know what you’re looking for, and we suggest you do so because it can deal some major damage. Sons of the Forest: Two important items needed before you get the crossbow

Getting the crossbow in Sons of the Forest is fairly easy, if you have the items required. The items you need to get the crossbow are the shovel, and also the Maintenance Keycard. Furthermore, we have guides available for both of these items if you would require in-depth steps on how to get those.

Once you have all of those items, the first thing you need to do to get the crossbow in Sons of the Forest is head to the location in the image above. The next step is to go through the cave that appears in front of you until you reach the end. You should see a hatch on the ground, which you need to enter. There are goodies in this room for you to grab like food, so make sure to look around.

Once you’re done looting, open the door located on the right side of the room you dropped into with the keycard. Doing this unlocks the door to what seems to be an indoor farm. Move through this area, and come to the second set of plants. In one of the rows you will find a streak of blood on the floor — follow it to find a dead man with your new crossbow.
