How to get the Somewhere Over the Rainbow Achievement in Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth

Find a rainbow to earn this trophy/achievement.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has a fairly manageable trophy/achievement list as long as you’re willing to grind, but there are a few minor trophies that can be frustrating to get if you don’t already know what to do. Somewhere Over the Rainbow is one of these achievements.

In order to get the Somewhere Over the Rainbow trophy in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, all you have to do is photograph a rainbow in the skies of Hawaii. It sounds simple enough, but the weather is completely random in Infinite Wealth and the rainbow doesn’t always appear when it should. Also, you won’t be able to see it from everywhere in Hawaii, so you’ll need to be in the right place at the right time.

Infinite Wealth Somewhere Over the Rainbow Trophy Guide

Rainbows appear after it rains in Hawaii. Rain occurs randomly when exploring Honolulu, but it doesn’t last for very long and there’s no way to force the weather to change. Since a rainbow only appears in the sky for a short period of time after it rains and the rain comes and goes so quickly, you have to be ready whenever the rain starts or you might miss your chance.

The best place to see a rainbow after it rains is Aloha Beach on the southern coast of the city. After it rains, the rainbow will appear in the sky to the east. It’s a pretty vertical rainbow so it can be hard to spot unless you’re already looking in the right direction, so keep a close eye out when you’re panning the camera. The bright Hawaiian sky makes it super easy to miss.

Once you see the rainbow, just press up on the D-Pad to pull out your camera and snap a photo of it to earn this trophy/achievement. Make sure the rainbow is in frame and you’ve zoomed in a little bit to make it the focal point of the photo, otherwise the achievement won’t pop.

Again, the best place to see the rainbow is Aloha Beach, but you can still view it from other places in Hawaii as long as you have a clear view of the sky. We recommend immediately opening your map and using a taxi to fast travel to Aloha Beach once it starts raining in Infinite Wealth so you don’t miss your chance to earn this trophy.

Thankfully, this achievement is one of the only frustrating ones on the path to 100% completion in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. You’ll still need to put in a lot of work to earn the Platinum Trophy or maximize your Gamerscore, but the rest of the process is pretty straightforward as long as you don’t mind leveling up Jobs and grinding for XP.
