How to Get the Segway in Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth

The Segway becomes available after reaching Chapter 3 in the main story of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. It’s obtained by completing a substory called “Surfin’ the Streets.” To start this substory, head to the intersection of Waikiki Street and Seaside Avenue near Kiryu’s hotel. Just across the street from the ABC Store, you’ll find a man trying to sell the Street Surfer Segway. You can see our location arrow on the map screenshot highlighting this location below.

Like most of Infinite Wealth’s substories, this quest will start automatically once you approach the vicinity. It’s also located near Kiryu’s hotel, which you need to visit for the main story of Chapter 3, so you’ll probably run into this substory without even trying. After taking the Street Surfer for a test drive, you’ll permanently unlock it for the rest of the game for use in both Hawaii and Japan.

How to Customize and Upgrade the Street Surfer

You can make the Street Surfer your own with a custom paint job and wheel effects. To customize your Street Surfer, just visit any Oka charging station. They’re marked on the map with a special icon and you can find them on most streets just like Suji Spots for Sujimon. In addition to recharging the Street Surfer’s battery, you can also equip new color schemes and customization options.

You’ll find new customization options for the Street Surfer at pawn shops throughout Hawaii and Japan. Some are also obtainable as point rewards for certain minigames. You can also purchase battery upgrades for the Street Surfer at most pawn shops, so keep an eye out for them since its starting battery capacity is quite low.
