Gimme that EXP!

The best parts of Palworld come along as you level up more and more, but how can you level up fast? Even a few hours into the game, you may find yourself lagging behind in levels.

Both you as the player and your Pals have separate levels, which can determine your stats. The higher your level, the stronger you are, and the better Pals you can catch. Here are some tips on gaining EXP.

Palworld: Best ways to level up fast

I have had some trouble keeping up with the levels I’d like to be at. There are various ways you can earn EXP, some of which aren’t as known. How you can easily level up fast in Palworld is by catching 10 of each Pal type, defeating Pals in battle, and completing dungeons.

Catch 10 of each Pal type

One thing that Palworld will mention to you is that catching 10 of one type of Pal will earn you an extra amount of EXP. If you’re trying to grind for levels, make sure you’ve reached that threshold on all the easiest Pals.

These can be ones like Chikipi, Lamball, Cattiva, Foxsparks, etc. The higher your level, the easier it’ll be to catch 10 of every Pal type, giving you a good amount of EXP to level up. By the way, simply catching Pals in general will give you a generous amount of EXP anyway.

Defeat enemy Pals

Unfortunately, you’ll have to get through killing a few Pals to level up quickly. Although you can do this just by using your own weapons, using your Pals in your party to fight is a lot more efficient. I find that my weapons don’t do nearly as much damage as my own Pals do.

You can do this easily with any small Pals you come across, as they should give you around 10 EXP per kill. This EXP will be even higher if you take down larger enemies such as bosses.

Complete high-level dungeons

One of the other best ways of leveling you and your Pals up fast is by getting through dungeons. You’ll occasionally find dungeons while roaming the open world, and they’re marked as cave entrances. Before you step inside, you can tell what the level of the dungeon is.

The higher the level, the more EXP your Pals and you will earn through completing it. They also have expiration dates, meaning they don’t stick around forever. But they’ll keep showing up, so don’t stress about missing out on a dungeon too much.

As you slowly level up in Palworld, you should also remember to use Statues of Power to increase your Capture Power and your Pals’ stats.
