Instead of having to grind in Tartarus for days on end, there are some methods for faster leveling. This is even more important when you want to be able to fuse higher-level Personas.

Persona 3 Reload: Best ways to level up fast

If you’re new to Persona 3, or you’re just feeling under-leveled, there are a few tips on how you can make it to higher levels easier. How you can level up fast in Persona 3 Reload is by choosing Wand cards in Shuffle Time, always exploring the highest levels of Tartarus, and getting a Rarity Fortune from the Fortune Teller.

Wand cards in Shuffle Time

After completing certain battles in Persona 3 Reload, you’ll enter what is called Shuffle Time. You’ll get a random set of cards, each giving you certain bonuses. Just like tarot cards, there are Wands, Coins, Cups, and Swords. The Wand cards give you extra EXP for that battle.

If you’re struggling to level up, always choose the Wand card in Shuffle Time. Also, the higher in Tartarus you go, the better chance you have of getting more than just two Wand icons on your card. The more of that green icon you see, the better the reward will be.

High Tartarus levels

Before each full moon, you can explore up to a certain point in Tartarus before it cuts you off. Once you make it to that point, you may have a few days to wait until the next big boss. Don’t just abandon Tartarus, I recommend going back every so often and re-exploring the highest levels of Tartarus.

This will not only raise your level before the next boss, but it’ll increase your Personas’ levels, as well as your party members’ levels. I always head back to the second last teleporter spot, then head through that group of levels before reaching my limit again.

For example, let’s say my last teleporter until the cut-off was level 40, but the one before that was level 34. I’d start at level 34, then work my way up to level 40 and repeat if my party members were still able to keep going.

Get a Rarity Fortune

Once you unlock the Fortune Teller at Club Escapade, you need Courage level two to get inside, you can get a Fortune Teller to give you a special reading. The Rarity Fortune is important if you want a higher chance of your next Tartarus trip to spawn rare Shadows. As a reminder, you have to go the same day you get the fortune for it to work.

It’ll cost you 3,000 Yen, but it’s worth it if you want that extra EXP for taking down stronger Shadows. If you choose to do all three of these methods, especially at one time, you’ll quickly notice just how fast you’re leveling up.
