How to sleep through the night in Enshrouded

To sleep through the night in Enshrouded, you’re going to need a bed. Go to your base’s claimed spot and go to your workbench. Interact with your workbench using the button and find beds in the Comfort section. These are the ingredients needed for a bed:

  • Four plant fiber
  • Three string
  • Four torn cloth

If you’re having trouble, then you probably haven’t done the prerequisites. You need to have made an axe, collected logs, have a workbench handy, and have created rough wood blocks. If you’ve done these, the game will allow you to make a bed at your workbench.

Alternatively, you can always sleep on the random beds you find in the world, even those occupied by skeletons. We don’t recommend depending on that though, because it’s not reliable method. It’s better to have a bed in your house that you can lay down in often. It’s also not hard to do and it normally takes about five minutes if you already have the torn cloth needed.

You’ll be able to find the ingredients around the area where you set up your base. You can find plant fiber from bushes, torn cloth is usually in caves and areas you face enemies, and you can craft string from the plant fiber you pick up. It shouldn’t take very long and its safer than resting on the random beds found in the world.
