For both Silk Thread and Cord, you first need to make a Spinning Wheel (after you unlock that building recipe, of course). To make a Spinning Wheel, you need eight Planks, five Wooden Rods, five Wood, and five Wolf Claw. You’ll get Planks and Wooden Rods from a Lumber Mill and I’ve found Wolf Claws from chests in the Grasslands biome, but they drop from wolves, too.

Once your Spinning Wheel is built, place it in your base. Ideally, you’ll place it in an area that has a ceiling so you can still use it when it’s raining. In the Spinning Wheel menu, you’ll see Cord, Silk Thread, Drawstring, and Wool Thread.

If you hover over the Silk Thread, you’ll see that you need one Silk to make one Silk Thread. Silk drops from spiders. Spiders can easily be found under Granite in the Grasslands biome or caves. Once you’ve got all the silk you need, return to the Spinning Wheel and craft Silk Thread.

For Cord, you need five vines for one Cord. Vines are a lot easier to come by, but because of that, it takes five to create one Cord. I suggest farming Vines by chopping down bushes with a Forest Axe. This is the best way I’ve been able to get Vines fast.

How to make Wool Thread and Drawstring in LEGO Fortnite

Now that you know how to make Silk Thread and Cord, you can figure out how to make Wool Thread and Drawstring. Wool Thread is the same as Silk Thread but you need Wool which you get from sheep roaming the grassland biomes and Drawstring is made with five Cords. Have fun!
