Where to find the clues for the padlock
If you want to know how the Iron Maidens padlock puzzle is solved, head back down the corridor to the alchemy lab. In this room, you will find a book on a table containing a riddle you must solve. The riddle reads: “Four sisters stood round where the cauldron doth cook, the table, the bottles, the tools, the book, to choose who would sacrifice…”
The riddle is the clue to the Iron Maidens’ padlock. As you look around the room, you can interact with various items around the room. Unsurprisingly, there is a bookcase, a table of things, a tool rack, and bottles. When you look at them, each one has a number associated with them. So, jot this number down.
The riddle tells you in which order to put the various numbers in You Will Die Here Tonight. The numbers are now in the order you need them to unlock the padlock to the Iron Maidens. Finally, head back to the room with the torture devices and simply enter them into the lock. It isn’t the most simple of puzzles in the game — but one I took great pleasure in solving.
