How to quickly find Nitewing in Palworld

Take to the skies.

Nitewing is likely to be the first flying Pal you’ll encounter in Palworld. But the very fact that it can fly poses a few problems when it comes to catching it. Here’s how you can get yourself a Nitewing in Palworld.

Where to find Nitewing in Palworld

Nitewing can be found in a few locations in Palworld. But I’ve found the easiest place to trigger its spawn is near the big stone archway next to the Grassy Behemoth Hills marker. Nitewing is one of many Pals that can spawn here. So the easiest way to get it to appear is to fast travel from the Plateau of Beginnings to the Grassy Behemoth Hills back and forth. Eventually, you’ll be able to see Nitewings ranging from level nine to 11 flying around the place. Check the map below for the general location to be in.

Now since Nitewing flies around in Palworld you’ll need a ranged weapon to bring it down to earth. A simple bow and arrow does the trick but you can also bring a Pal that has a ranged attack to help out. Alternatively, you may be lucky and find a Nitewing at night while it’s sleeping. It’ll be on the ground at this time and you’ll be able to get the jump on it easily.

The best ways to use Nitewing

It almost goes without saying, but Nitewing’s main use is as a flying mount. Simply create the Nitewing Saddle and you’re ready to take to the skies in Palworld. This saddle becomes available at the 15th level of the Technology tree. It costs 20 Leather, 10 Cloth, 15 Ingots, 20 Fiber, and 20 Paldium Fragments. So it’s not necessarily cheap but at this point in the game, you should have plenty of all these materials.

Nitewing also has the Gathering Work Suitability which can be useful to have at your base. Plus having a Pal that can take to the skies and reign death from above is pretty cool to have at home. It’s one of many flying mounts that are currently available in Palworld. But it’s worth adding to the team early on.
