Wizard with a Gun is all about resource collecting and standing fast against the ever-increasing waves of enemies that crash against you. There are a ton of resources to collect along the way, and it can become overwhelming. When you first start out, your base is in shambles, and everything is in need of repair. Figuring out what goes where can take time. You will need to repair the Research Machina to really start doing damage in Wizard with a Gun, so you should focus on this first.Â
How to repair the Research Machina
In order to repair the Research Machina, you will first need to have started your new game. This is one of the first jobs your little wizard will have. Head on over to the broken Machina and interact with it.
Interact with the item with E, and you will be shown what you need to collect to start your repairs. You will need one Arcane Tome and five Metal Scrap. They need to be collected from inside the world. Now, you will need to turn back time at The Wheel to open up the portal and head in. Here’s where to find the materials you need in Wizard with a Gun.
Materials to collect with Wizard with a Gun
Arcane Tome – These can be collected from a number of places. Your best bet is killing enemies you come across. Another great source of Arcane Tomes for the Research Machina is the chests you will find around the Wizard with a Gun map. If you are going for a peaceful approach, look for the buildings on the map that have a book buried in them.
Metal Scrap – Unsurprisingly, you can find a lot of scrap metal by destroying metal objects. Look for the big wheels and a lot of the workbenches and things around the map. You can also look for the Loot enemies who will provide you with everything you need.
Build the Research Machina
Finally, head back to your safe base and make your way to the Research Machina. Press E to rebuild the machine, and you can get on with researching all the new ammo.
