Just in the first few hours of Tears of the Kingdom, you’re already knee-deep into Shrine puzzles. After you’ve completed two Shrines that give you unique abilities, there’s one more ability that’s even more useful. The Gutanbac Shrine will introduce you to the Ascend ability, which lets you merge through solid ceilings to reach the top of an area. Tears of the Kingdom Gutanbac Shrine puzzle solutions
Once you make the trek up the snowy mountain and enter the Shrine, Rauru gives you the ability called Ascend. This tool is quite easy to use, and is helpful in a lot of situations. The first room you’re in shows the only way through is up. Walk under the ledge near the back wall, and use Ascend to merge through to the top. Once you’re on the next level, you’ll notice two pillars sticking out of a wall.

Ascend through the shorter pillar on the left first. This is because there’s a chest on it with a Stone Axe inside. Then, you can jump back down, and Ascend through the pillar on the right. Prepare yourself, because there’s an enemy Construct waiting to attack you up top. Take care of it, then look to the wall on your right. There should be two boxes in the wall, ready to be destroyed. Once gone, you can walk under the open space and Ascend. You’ll find a chest up there with a Construct Bow inside.

Now go back where you came from, and you’ll notice two ropes pulling back a possible bridge. Cutting them is easy, you should be able to use any weapon. Once the stone slab falls, you can walk under it and Ascend to the bridge.
There’s one last piece of this puzzle. You’ll spot a moving stone square above you, and above that one is a non-moving one. Get under the moving square and Ascend to it. Then, once it moves under the one above you, Ascend to the next level. That’s it, you’ve figured out how to solve the Gutanbac Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom, and can collect your prize!
