Maiko will say she’s hungry and wants to eat something round and hot. But what is she referring to? I’ll explain everything below.

Persona 3 Reload: What food to give Maiko

By May 6, you’ll be able to speak with Maiko who’s on the playground at Naganaki Shrine. She won’t give you many hints for her request, so you may find it hard to search for exactly what she’s looking for. You can start the Hanged Man Social Link with Maiko in Persona 3 Reload by giving her Weird Takoyaki and Mad Bull.

First off, the round and hot food is the Weird Takoyaki at the little food shop in the Iwatodai Strip Mall. You’ll find it to the right of Wilduck Burger. This isn’t the only thing Maiko will ask for, though. So to save you some time, let’s find the second item before returning to Maiko.

Once you purchase Weird Takoyaki, head to the vending machine at Iwatodai Station near the elevator and buy the Mad Bull beverage. Then you can find Maiko again and give her those two items. She’ll be thankful, and ask that you come back another day to officially start the Hanged Man Social Link.

I only had to wait a couple of days before Maiko showed up again at the playground. That’s all you have to do! Luckily, Maiko won’t make mysterious food requests anymore, but she will ask you to take her to places like Wildduck Burger to buy her lunch.
