How to unlock Tobio’s Hollow Chasm in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

Are you wondering how to unlock Tobio’s Hollow Chasm in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Totk)? Unfortunately, to unlock Tobio’s Hollow Chasm, you must complete several quests, obtain an armor set, and then travel to one of the most challenging areas in the game. Here is an easy-to-follow guide on completing all objectives to unlock Tobio’s Hollow Chasm.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK): How to unlock Tobio’s Hollow Chasm

You must complete the Joku-u Shrine quest to unlock Tobios Hollow Chasm in TOTK. However, before you complete the Joku-u Shrine, you must complete a few required tasks to make your task easier.

Here is everything you need to do before unlocking the Toboios Hollow Chasm:

  1. Complete the Ring of the Ruins quest
  2. Obtain the Charged Armor set
  3. Complete the Joku-u Shrine Dragonhead Island

Once you have completed the above two objectives, Tobio’s Hollow Chasm will be unlocked and found east of Dracozu Lake at coordinates 1305, -2397, 0062.

How to complete the Rings of the Ruins quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

Speak to Paya in Kakariko Village to begin the Secret of the Ring Ruins quest. You can find Kakariko Village at coordinates 1815, -0952, 0113.

After accepting the quest from Paya, you must climb to the ring ruins, 1815, -0952, 0113, take a photo, and then report back to Paya.

How to get Charged Armor set in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

Afterward, you must head to Popla Foothills and speak with Calip at coordinates 0602, -2118, 0098. Calip will task you with collecting three parts of the Charged Armor. You can find all three pieces of the Charged Armor at the following locations:

  • Charged Headdress: Dracozu River (0979, -2827, 0012)
  • Charged Shirt: Dracozu Lake (1001, -2538, 0013)
  • Charged Trousers: Dracozu River (0952, -2705, 0012)

Zonai Charge Crypt

Finally, while wearing the Charged Armor set, you must set the Zonai Charge in the crypt at coordinates 0696, -2749, 0012.

How to complete the Joku-u Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

You can now head to Dragonhead Island in the Faron Grasslands Sky region, 1377, -3342, 0429, to complete the Joku-u Shrine. I recommend removing all iron gear and weapons and having at least ten hearts to make completing this shrine easier.

Once ready, you can complete the shrine by following these steps:

  1. Interact with the Charged Door
  2. Obtain the Zonai relic
  3. Build yourself a flying Zonai device
  4. Set the Zonai relic on your flying Zonai Device
  5. Fly through the shrine by following the green beam
  6. Place the Zonai relic on the altar
  7. Follow the green beam down to Tobio’s Hollow Chasm

You have now unlocked Tobio’s Hollow Chasm!
