As mentioned, World Tier 3 will take you to the limit and should be done only when you’re ready. Meaning, you have to be at least level 50 and have a build that can take on the punishment.

This applies to playing on hardcore as well. If you want to unlock World Tier 3 in the Hardcore mode, you must have done the two requirements in the Hardcore mode of World Tier 2 first.

Benefits of playing on World Tier 3

While the difficulty is heightened in World Tier 3, you will still be rewarded for your deeds. For World Tier 1 and 2, you can get Legendary gear. In World Tier 3, expect Sacred and Unique armor drops, so you can enhance your build even further. Nightmare Sigils, which can unlock Nightmare Dungeons, appear now.

Since enemies drop a healthy amount of XP and gold in World Tier 2, it’s a good idea to play on that level first. This way, you’ll get a head start when you dive into the Hell that is World Tier 3.
