The catch is that the new warbond is considered “premium,” meaning it’s not free. So you may be wondering, is the Democratic Detonation warbond worth it? We have the answer for you.

Helldivers 2 Democratic Detonation: Should you get it?

The first thing you need to know about the Democratic Detonation warbond is that it costs 1,000 Super Credits, the in-game currency that can be purchased with real-world money or found throughout matches. 1,000 Super Credits is equivalent to $9.99 if you go the purchasing route.

Before we answer whether the Democratic Detonation warbond is worth it in Helldivers 2, let’s first review everything included in the package.

  • Freedom’s Tapestry

As you can see, the Democratic Detonation warbond has all the bells and whistles to be the greatest one yet. The weapons have a huge emphasis on explosions, hence the word “detonation” in the warbond title, which is incredibly helpful against the larger-sized enemies in the game. Democratic Detonation is all about high damage output and making things go “boom.”

I think that the Democratic Detonation warbond is one hundred percent worth it if you can scrounge up the 1,000 Super Credits during matches. However, is it worth spending close to 10 bucks to purchase it? That’s a different story and really depends on your financial situation.

If you have the money to spare and it won’t break the bank, then yes, I definitely recommend purchasing the Democratic Detonation warbond. Not only are the weapons built to defeat large enemies and rip through hordes, but the Expert Extraction Pilot Booster is a game changer as it reduces the time it takes for the extraction plane to pick you up.

Of course, there are the cosmetics and look of the armor. In my opinion, Democratic Detonation has the best-looking armor and capes of all the other warbonds released. If you want your Helldiver to look like a true warrior, I’d highly suggest you get yourself this warbond.
