How to find the Mystery Box in MWZ

There are a couple of ways to track down the Mystery Box. The most exact method is to track it down on your Tac Map.

The Mystery Box has a distinct icon on the map (pictured above), but there’s one big problem. The Mystery Box marker is tiny and is pretty hard to see against the map background. You’re also vulnerable when your map is up, as it doesn’t pause the game. Use the map if it’s safe, but there’s another way to find the Mystery Box, which is far more efficient.

Follow the blue beam

Just like in wave-based CoD Zombies, the Mystery Box location is revealed by a beam of light that shines up into the sky. You can see this beam from miles away, and a quick scan of the horizon will usually show you where to go.

The Mystery Box seems to spawn randomly, so you must be vigilant each run to track it down.

How much does the Mystery Box cost to use?

As with the original Zombies mode, the Mystery Box isn’t cheap and costs 950 Credits per use. That may not sound like much, especially if you’ve been on the map for a while, but it quickly adds up upon repeat uses. There are many ways to spend money in MWZ, so make sure you’ve got some spare capital for Perks and the Pack a Punch machine.
