  • Vanguard: 18 meter range, 13.5 second cooldown, 2.5 meter sphere area target. Victoria uses her enchanted shield to charge through enemies in a straight line, inflicting damage and Stagger. At the end, a sonic wave damages enemies and hurls them away.
  • Sling Shield: 50 meter range, 20 second cooldown, 1 enemy target. Victoria pulls a Captain America and throws her shield, which can bounce between enemies and inflict damage as well as Stagger. This move breaks through blocking.
  • Lion’s Roar: 20 meter radius from the front range, 50 second cooldown, self target. Victoria’s swings gain incredible power and her Melee Energy costs are reduced. Her attacks have increased knockback and inflict knockdown. Every enemy in that 20 meter radius will attack Victoria. This lasts 15 seconds.
  • Thunderstrike: Hold space while falling to unleash a bolt of thunder, damaging enemies and knocking them back.

Alternative Weapon: Bow and Arrow. Click to fire, hold down for a charge attack.

Victoria has the highest base health of the characters, making her ideal for singleplayer and to head the party at the frontlines. That being said, it’s always ideal in MythForce to cut down on as much time in the frontlines as possible. For this purpose, her secondary weapon is actually quite useful. It fires very quickly uncharged and lets you pick off as many enemies from a distance as possible before they get close.

When playing Victoria in melee range, it’s ideal to watch enemies carefully and try to get a timing for when they swing so you can block. Blocking takes away some of your available attack power, but every health point saved counts in this game.

When using Vanguard, note you can hold the button down so you can more precisely plan your charge. You’ll need it, as Vanguard runs the risk of launching you into fire, acid pools, or explosive plants. Sling Shield is a particularly good ability to help scope out enemies in a room, as it is homing and will fly towards the nearest enemy.

Lion’s Roar is very powerful, requires no setup, and helps you get out of all sorts of sticky situations. For the same reason, it’s ideal to activate as you go into combat with groups of enemies to once more minimize health point loss.

Overall, Victoria is a very simple character to grasp and play, and that’s the beauty of it. You’ll be smashing enemies to pieces in no time.
