Persona 3 Reload’s missing people range from strangers to Social Link characters, so it’s important to pay attention to the names that pop up and make sure you rescue the most important ones. Of course, rescuing missing people doesn’t take up much time and you’re likely to encounter them when exploring Tartarus normally anyway, so just keep an eye out while you’re slaying shadows.

Some of the items that you can receive as rewards for rescuing missing people are incredibly useful, like the Felt Doll that you get for rescuing Maiko Oohashi. This is one of the few items in the game that allows you to passively recover SP during the Dark Hour, and you’ll want to rescue Maiko anyway since she’s a Social Link. Don’t ignore the non-Social Link missing people, however, as the yen and other rewards do add up over time.
