Swordsman Job Classes, explained – Ragnarok Origin

Ragnarok Origin Swordsman

Swordsman is a beginner-friendly friendly class with great attacks and high health.

If you go the Knight/Lord Knight route, you’ll unlock more powerful attacks and gain even higher defenses. This can be great if you want to become the ultimate tank or unstoppable solo player.

If you go the Crusader/Paladin route, you’ll increase your defenses and gain abilities to buff yourself and your allies. Crusader/Paladin isn’t as strong as Knight/Lord Knight, but they make up for it with better utility on the battlefield.

Mage Job Classes, explained – Ragnarok Origin

Mage is an amazing class that doesn’t have a lot of health but has the most effective to eliminate enemies.

The Wizard/High Wizard route is the way to make an insanely powerful DPS character. With high damage single target attacks and amazing AoE spells, the Wizard/High Wizard is an unstoppable force.

The Sage/Professor route allows you to craft better spells in the long run and grants buff and debuff spells. If you want to master the elements and be a better support for your team, go with Sage/Professor.

Merchant Job Classes, explained – Ragnarok Origin

Merchants have a lot of bonuses out of combat when it comes to trading. However, they’re also very formidable on the battlefield.

If you pick the Blacksmith/Mastersmith job classes, you’ll focus more on creating great weapons and breaking enemy weapons. At Mastersmith, you can infuse life into any material which means you can summon metal allies.

If you pick the Alchemist/Creator job classes, you’ll focus more on creating deadly potions and summoning homunculus. While similar to the Blacksmith/Mastersmith, the Alchemist/Creator is better at summons and ranged attacks.

Acolyte Job Classes, explained – Ragnarok Origin

Ragnarok Origin Acolyte

Acolytes are a difficult class to play as they are primarily healers and supports.

If you want to become the ultimate healer, go with the Priest/High Priest job classes. While they will inflict better debuffs on enemies, Priests/High Priests are the best support characters in the game for keeping everyone alive.

If you want to have some healing but focus more on contributing to combat, go with Monk/Champion. The Monk/Champion job classes are experts at melee combat but also still provide support.

Thief Job Classes, explained – Ragnarok Origin

Thieves aren’t as strong as other classes, but they are very fast.

The Assassin/Assassin Cross job classes are masters of poison damage and stealth. These job classes can deal very high damage and evade combat with ease.

Rogue/Stalker is a new job class route and it focuses on ranged attacks. You can switch between melee and ranged, creep around in stealth, and debuff your enemies.

Archer Job Classes, explained – Ragnarok Origin

Archers are a solid class that focuses on ranged attacks.

The Hunter/Sniper job class route makes your single target attacks deal very high damage. You can still install traps and use your falcon, but what makes Hunters/Snipers so good is their high damage.

The Bard/Minstrel job classes are for male Archers only. Bards/Minstrels use songs to deal damage and strengthen their allies. They aren’t the highest-damage dealers, but they are great for buffs and debuffs.

The Dancer/Diva job classes are for female Archers only. Similar to the Bard/Minstrel songs, Dancers/Divas get to infatuate their enemies which makes them more vulnerable to attacks. They are great for distracting enemies and dealing killing blows.
