Note that, as is the case with any tier list, this list is subjective. I have pulled from community opinions to form this tier list, so it is a reflection of current thoughts. Be mindful that it is subject to change and different players will have differing play styles, so make sure to experiment!
I have put every unit into the same list, so each class (support, striker, attacker), does not have its own tier list. That’s fine, however, as you’ll be compromising your team of the best units you can, regardless of their class. Each tier provides a good enough mix of classes for you to choose from.
The following lists are alphabetical in order.
S Tier
These units are agreed to be the best of the best, so you’ll certainly want to have them on your team!
- Sima Yi
- Xing Chen
- Zhao Yun
- Zhuge Liang
A Tier
These units are some of the strongest, and will hardly fail you.
- Diaochan
- Ling Qi
- Shang Xiang
- Wenji
- Zhang He
- Zhu Rong
- Xiahou Dun

B Tier
Although these units aren’t terrible, they leave much to be desired.
- Chun Hua

C Tier
If I were you, I’d move away from these characters as soon as I could.

D Tier
If I were you, I wouldn’t bother at all with these units. Sorry, everyone.
- Dian Wei – Tier 5
- Ma Chao – Tier 5
This list is to be taken with a grain of salt, it may transpire that you can really work with characters lower on this list. However, I would really make sure to get ahold of the S tier units, as they are truly powerful and will make the game much easier.
Note again that this list is subject to change as updates and new units hit the game, and this list won’t able to be immediately updated with the new information.
