Ranked play in Modern Warfare 3 is probably the most popular mode behind zombies. It’s a test of how good you are against players of your skill or higher. However, it seems that some players are reporting that ranked is missing from the main menu. To find out where the ranked playlist is in Modern Warfare 3, you should read below.

You go to the menu…and it’s not there. You check if you have it unlocked, you do and it’s still not there. Don’t fret, this is normal. Just before a new season begins, the ranked menu for the previous season goes offline for some time because it resets.Â
What resets each season?
Your rank does not reset if you’re worried about that. Your division goes down a few steps, though doesn’t reset either. For example, if you are in the Silver 1 division, your rank will drop down to Bronze 1, and you’ll need to work your way back up. One thing you should note is that if you’re on the higher end of the ranked division such as Top 250, Iridescent, or Crimson you’ll start at Dimond 1. The higher you go, the more you have to rank up.Â
This is just a way to make everything a little more equal. If you’re in those higher tiers, players at the start of each season have a chance of getting up because it’s all in the same pool. But you’ll need to act fast and play well since those higher divisions are the ones that yield more XP. After a few days, the pool becomes smaller and smaller because the better players are leveling up quickly. I would recommend playing at the start of each season regardless of how you perform, you’ll still have the edge over the latecomers.
