Where can you find Link’s Archaic Tunic in Tears of the Kingdom?

If you’re someone who loves to mainline quests and doesn’t explore every nook and cranny, you may miss this one. Adventuring in style is important, especially with this unique outfit, so make sure to explore everything the Great Sky Island has to offer!

On the island you find yourself on after losing Zelda, look to the south end of the map. This is where you’ll find The Pondside Cave. In Breath of the Wild, there were plenty of new things to investigate and explore, but it never had Discoveries. Now in Tears of the Kingdom, there are small locations called Discoveries with small treasures and useful items.

Head to the location on the map above, where you’ll find an entrance to this Pondside Cave. Inside, you’ll end up in a room with a new creature called a Bubbulfrog that drops Bubbul Gems when they die. On your way to finding Link’s new shirt, make sure to get a Bubbul Gem, as it’s useful later on. Keep venturing further into this cave, and you’ll soon find a chest.

Inside this chest is the Archaic Tunic, with a defense level of one. Although it won’t provide much protection, it’s good for now, and it looks stylish. Now that you know where to find his Archaic Tunic and understand what Discoveries are, explore more places on the Great Sky Island!
