According to VG247, the company today published a report stating that, following a successful GDC demo of the cloud-based gaming service, onlookers were “blown away” by the technology.

“It is not clear to us that OnLive will dominate any time soon, but we are confident that this breakthrough technology will ultimately be widely adopted,” said the report.

The ultra-low latency system employed by the technology could also appeal to companies with an interest in videoconferencing.

“The possibilities are endless, but the technology is quite appealing, and we are confident that OnLive will end up as part of the video game culture some time next decade.”
