Images of Battlefield 3’s not-yet-announced ‘Battlelog’ system have emerged after being accidentally (or not) posted on the German language Battlefield 3 blog.
It’s possibly not a coincidence that ‘battlelog’ rhymes with ‘catalogue’ because as you can see below, the images show a social layer jam-packed with statistics. Player progression is at the fore, allowing you to compare yourself with other Battlefield 3 combatants. You may suck at the game, but at least you can say “aha, I kill more people with pistols than you!”
There’s also a very Facebook-esque ‘battlefeed’ showing others what you’ve been up to.
