Further information about the Bioshock 2 Rapture Metro DLC has been posted at The Cult of Rapture.
Although initially scheduled for a 29 April release, this is no longer the case. The multiplayer DLC’s release status is now listed as ‘coming soon,’ but it has been confirmed by publishers 2K that this does not refer to this week.
The Rapture Metro Map Pack will include six new multiplayer maps, along with new achievements and trophies. Send your eyes rightwards for a screenshot of one of the new areas.
A few additional details have also been revealed. Rebirth mode will allow Rank 50 players to reset to Rank 1, rewarding them with a special mask and the chance to experience levelling up all over again.
The map pack is now confirmed for all Bioshock 2 platforms: Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. It will be priced at 800 MS Points or $9.99 USD. What this will translate to in terms of a UK price is not yet clear.
