Bungie Not Working on MMO

Following on from the story that Bungie had announced at GDC they were busy working away on an MMO, apparently it was all a hilarious joke which got lost in translation along the way. Bungie has since stated:
“In rehearsal Aldridge was convinced that everybody got the joke. It was all in the delivery, he assured us, and he was certain it was clear that he was playfully riffing off of the recent rumors. Unfortunately, most people can’t figure David out — they can’t process him. And we don’t expect them to. You can’t process David Aldridge with a normal brain. You’d need tiger blood and Adonis DNA.”
How we laughed, a right cracker there. I hope David Aldridge is in town for the rest of the week because we’re booking front row seats.
So no Bungie MMO but more likely an action shooter instead, no huge suprise there. We would have been more surprised if they had been making an MMO.
