If you have an itch to sample The Darkness 2 before its release in early February, you’re in luck. Developer Digital Extremes will be issuing a demo on all formats later this month, though the demo release dates for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions all differ.
Xbox Live Gold members will be able to play it from 17 January, giving them a good week of time over everyone else. Xbox Live free members, PlayStation Network (US) and PC (Steam) will be getting the demo on 24 January. EU and Asian PSN users have to wait another day until 25 January.
The Darkness 2 is coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 in early February. John had a bash at the game’s co-op mode back in December and returned with this report.
