Dungeonland, Critical Games’ co-op focused adventure in a theme park gone badly wrong (or, I suppose, right), now has a release date of 22 January. That’s just two weeks time, so prospective dungeoneers and dungeon maestros should start preparing their gear and honing their finest traps in anticipation.

In Dungeonland, up to four players can band together against an AI ‘dungeon maestro’ to see if they can battle and pillage their way through a funfair that’s somehow even more dangerous than the ones in real life. It’s also possible to play with a human dungeon maestro, and three real dungeoneers. Pre-ordering the game will net eager maestros a “Grimoire Pack” which claims to include more intimidating monsters and sneakier traps.
