EA Partners Still To Publish Rage

Electronic Arts has said that it will still be publishing id Software’s Rage.News broke yesterday that ZeniMax Media purchased Rage developer id Software. The announcement boasted that the “library of powerhouse franchises will include Doom, Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, Quake, Wolfenstein and Rage.”But EA has made an official statement to gamesindustry.biz relating to the upcoming title.”EA’s agreement with id Software for Rage remains unchanged,” the statement read.Rage is a new shooting and racing title for Xbox360, PS3 and PC and hasn’t been given a release date.
