Facebook has told IncGamers it now has 11 games that are more popular than the hugely popular World of Warcraft.
Speaking to IncGamers, a spokeswoman for the social networking site said: “200 million people play games on Facebook and more people play games on Facebook than on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Wii combined (Xbox 360 = 44MM; Playstation 3 = 39MM; Wii = 75MM).
“There are 11 games on Facebook larger than World of Warcraft (WoW = 12MM users), including CityVille (100MM), FarmVille (16MM), Texas Hold’Em (36MM), FrontierVille (32MM), Cafe World (22MM), Mafia Wars (22MM), Treasure Isle ((15MM), MindJolt (13MM), Happy Aquarium (13MM), Pet Society (13MM) and Bejeweled Blitz (12.1MM).”
