According to reports that surfaced on Saturday, the GAME group could be saved as early as Sunday when an announcement is expected to be made.
According to the Telegraph, OpCapita is expected to be announced as the new owner, following their earlier bid last week.
There are no further details of the deal as yet, but GAME is expected to be picked up for the nominal fee of £1.
OpCapita purchased the troubled Comet chain for £2 last year and the challege will be to turn GAME around and sort out its £85m of debt.
