There’s a game called Warframe that many of you have probably never heard of, it has slipped under a lot of gamer’s radars. At the end of last year we had the opportunity to jump in on the beta test for Digital Extremes’ third person shooter/action title and we were pretty impressed with the game’s style, visuals and gameplay. Warframe is also aimed at co-operative play so it’s absolutely ideal to play with your friends.
So what is Warframe? Players take on the role of the Tenno, warriors who are not only handy with standard weaponry such as guns, but are also masters of the blade and special suits called Warframes. You have now been summoned to travel throughout space and stop a race called the Grineer whose main goal it to wipe out the Tenno.
Players have the chance to try out different Warframes which come with their own special attributes and there are also skills and upgrades to be found as you battle through the game.
