Modern Warfare 3 to be a Steamworks title

A brief announcement from Valve and Activision confirms that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will use Steamworks for all PC versions of the game.
Retail or digital, you’ll need Steam to run the title. In return, you’ll get access to the standard Steam services like the Friend overlay, achievements and auto-updates.
Offline play will also be supported, and there’s a reminder at the end of the press release that this time around Modern Warfare 3 will be supporting dedicated servers.
The game will be released on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 this November.
