Naval gazing: Paradox announces Leviathan: Warships

Leviathan: Warships

Paradox is dipping its toe in the waters of ship-to-ship tactical combat with the announcement of Leviathan: Warships. It’s said to be a mixture of turn-based planning and action (which to me looks like a ‘pause to issue your orders and stuff’ system) with a single player and full co-op campaign.

Competitive multiplayer is there too in the form of “several” Player-vs-Player maps. You can do that cross-platform, so prepare to blow up not just PC players but Mac, iOS and Android captains as well.

Right now, it’s looking like there will be 11 different ship types and 16 weapons with which to customise your fleet and build a tactical plan around.

Point your telescope towards the announcement trailer, below.
