Ninja Theory do not have the manpower to develop Enslaved 2

New Devil May Cry is sole focus for the British developer.
Enslaved: Odyssey to the West developer, Ninja Theory, has revealed that it couldn’t realistically work on a fllow-up to the project if it wanted to.
Originally, it seems, the plan was to split the team into two divisions and work on two titles simultaneously. Such plans have been shunned with the company now focused squarely on the new Devil May Cry title.
“Right now we should have been doing a sequel and perfecting that sequel and doing what franchises do, which is get better over time,” Ninja Theory co-founder Tameem Antoniades told Edge magazine.
“Because that didn’t happen we’ve not expanded to two teams like we intended to. So we’ve remained a smaller shop. But now we get another chance with Devil May Cry.”
It’s not known whether or not the Enslaved franchise (published by Namco Bandai) will ever see a sequel.
Did you know? The new Devil May Cry (dubbed DMC) was announced back in September, 2010. Check out the screenshots here.
